50 Cent, Beyonce, Lizzo, Rihanna and Jamie Foxx Take Home NAACP Awards
Rihanna was honored at the NAACP Image Awards this weekend with the Presidents award for her charity work. She made a moving speech about unity. Check out her moving words below.
Lizzo took home the coveted Entertainer Of the Year honors as well as the award for Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album. 50 Cent earned an award for Directing in a Drama Series for “Power.”
Beyoncé’s concert film “Homecoming and The Lion King: The Gift” earned awards for Outstanding Variety (Series or Special), Outstanding Album and Outstanding Female Artist, among others. Her daughter Blue Ivy Carter became the youngest NAACP Award recipient for Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration for the song “Brown Skin Girl.”
Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx also took home awards for their film “Just Mercy.”
