Earlier this month it was announced that Oprah Winfrey is the executive producer of an upcoming documentary film focusing on Drew Dixon and her allegations that Def Jam former executive Russell Simmons raped her. The film is part of Oprah’s deal with Apple TV but will premier at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
50 Cent commented on Oprah using her power to give a platform for the sexual abuse accusers of Michael Jackson and now Russell Simmons while staying quiet on Harvey Weinstein’s slew of cases. 50 said, “🤦♂️I don’t understand why Oprah is going after black men. No Harvey Weinstein, No Epstein, just Micheal jackson and Russell Simmons this shit is sad. Gale hit R Kelly with the death blow documentary. Every time I hear Micheal jackson I don’t know whether to dance or think about the little boys butts.” 50 continued his comments explaining the power that these one sided stories pose, “These documentary’s are publicly convicting their targets, it makes them guilty till proven innocent.”
