The success of the TV show Power has given 50 Cent new entrepreneurial growth. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his G-Unit Film & Television, Inc. have received a new deal with Starz network worth $150 million. The deal includes a three-series commitment, the addition of a dedicated development executive, and a discretionary fund for use in developing G-Unit projects. Jackson will also have input on merchandising and licensing of brands and content developed by G-Unit giving him complete control.
50 said, “I was essentially requesting the biggest deal in premium cable history.” Two new shows “Black Mafia Family” and “Vanguard,” produced by 50 are already in the works and he is set to direct some of season 6 of Power.
