Adrien Broner Uses Pacquiao Check To Pay Off $1 Million Jewelry Debt
Adrien Broner has agreed to settle his $1million debt to a jewelry company. Pristine Jewelers NY said Broner’s checks never cleared for pieces he ordered and he never set up a payment plan so last year they took him to court last year to recoup their money.
New legal docs show that on 2/15, a few weeks after Broner took home a $2.5 million check for his fight with Manny Pacquiao, he finally set up a payment arrangement with the jewelers. The agreement states that Broner made his first payment on March 4 and will pay $500,000 by Dec. 31, 2019, and then the final $500,000 no later than 6 months after that.
