Alfonso Ribeiro Suing Fortnite Over Use of The Carlton Dance

We reported that 2Milly was suing the creators of the popular game Fortnite for use of his dance and now another lawsuit is being filed from “Fresh Prince” star Alfonso Ribeiro. Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks on the TV sitcom, is suing Fortnite for unfairly profiting from using his likeness and from exploiting his “protected creative expression.” The game has a dance called “Fresh Emote” which is a rip off of his “Carlton Dance” that he is in the process of copyrighting. Ribeiro joins 2Milly and “Backpack Kid” in Fortnite lawsuits.
