Ar-Ab may be facing some hefty jail time. The rapper was arrested in his home town of Philadelphia as police feel he is the ringleader of a major drug trafficking business. The Philadelphia police department has been tracking this alleged drug ring since March of 2017 and the FBI stepped in in early 2018 with a warrant for a complex on Christopher Columbus Boulevard that uncovered 10 kilos of cocaine, six pounds of meth, and over $20,000 in cash. Officials say they were able to determine these drugs were going from Philly to California through a series of rental properties obtained with false identities.
“The charges alleged in the superseding indictment are extremely serious, and if convicted, these defendants are facing major jail time,” U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain said.
