Doug E. Fresh says his Harlem brownstone at 251 W. 131st St., is infested with rats because of a neighbor’s stalled construction. The building, which Fresh is the executor of but doesn’t live in, shares a wall with another building that has been undergoing constructions since 2016. The 249 West 131st Street, building was left without a rear wall, which “compromise the structural integrity of the adjoining premises, and cause damage.”
Fresh is suing the architects of the project, the building owners and the construction companies who were involved for $1 million. The court documents also show that Fresh is asking that no further construction be done until the issues are fixed.
