If you are expecting Tekashi 6ix9ine to be back on the streets any time soon you may be sorely disappointed according to Hip-Hop cop Derrick Parker.
Parker is a former NYPD officer who is known as one of the people tasked with creating the infamous Hip-Hop task force in New York City. He understands the inner workings of the justice system and shared a rather bleak outlook on Tekashi 6ix9ine’s future.
In the video below Parker goes into detail on 69’s Fed Case. He also highlights similarities between Tekashi and fellow Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda’s case. Parker states that while they are different, they are very similar. In Bobby’s case he was dealing with the state while 69 is up against the Federal system but both got on the radar because of their gang associations. It’s a good listen although Tekashi 6ix9ine fans may be disheartened by Parker’s outlook on how much time Tekashi may be sitting behind bars. Hit play down below:
