Meek Mill was handed down a sentence of 2-4 years in prison for violating his probation. Meek’s lawyer claims the harsh sentence was a vendetta by the judge. The lawyer claims that during a meeting in her chambers last year, the judge suggested that Meek do a remake of  Boyz II Men’s, “On Bended Knee”and give her, the judge, a shout-out. Meek thought she was kidding and laughed. Because this song did not happen, Meek is going to be locked up for a long time at the peek of his career.

Stars including Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart and Jay Z took to social media to support Meek. Snoop said, “Head up young g. We wit u ????. Freee. @meekmill” while fellow Philly native Hart said, “Praying for my brother @meekmill right now. God sometimes puts the toughest battles on his strongest soldiers. I’m here for you man!!!! My brother for life…Always here for you man!!! This storm will pass…Stay strong & keep your head up.”

Do you think the sentencing was fair?
