It’s been 3 months since Kevin Gates was released from prison after serving nine months out of a 30-month sentence on felony gun possession. But he’s still be MIA. Gates says his parole officer won’t allow him to travel outside of Cook County, Illinois to make money for shows and recording He also says despite having completed anger management courses they won’t allow him to see his children.
Gates has filed a restraining order against John R. Baldwin, the Director of the Illinois Department of Corrections and Ned Shwartz, a parole officer for the Illinois Department of Corrections. We didn’t even know that was possible. He has also filed an injunction to stop his parole officer from denying his travel requests. Let’s see how this plays out.
