In his new song “1985” J. Cole talks honestly about new rappers not thinking about their impact on the youth and feeling like the money will never run out. It’s one of the lines, “I’m fuckin’ with your funky lil’ rap name/ I hear your music and I know that rap’s changed” that have people thinking it’s a diss on Lil Pump.

Well here’s Lil Pump’s response.

But J. Cole is just speaking from his own experience as indicated by the line, “I remember I was 18, Money, pussy, parties, I was on the same thing

You gotta give a boy a chance to grow some.”
