Logic Explains Why He Once Turned Down A $1.5 Million Deal

29 year-old rapper Logic is now a success but he started off in a very unconventional fashion. Yes he was super talented but he was also managed by a guy, Chris Zarou, who had no prior experience working with a recording artist. Zarou tried to get an internship at a record label as a way to get Logic in the door. One label that rejected him was Def Jam, where Logic is now signed.

Even when they had nothing they wouldn’t settle. Logic says, “There was even independent companies that put a contract for $1.5 million dollars in our hands. … We turned it down like it was nothing.” Now he is worth $10 million.
