Pop Smoke Arrested For Transporting Stolen Car
Rising rap star Pop Smoke was arrested yesterday at JFK airport in NY after arriving back from Europe. He is being charged with interstate transport of a stolen vehicle.
He allegedly moved a stolen Rolls Royce between state lines last November thru December. The Rolls Royce valued at $375,000 was loaned to the rapper by its owner in California for use in a music video. A source close to the case told the media the rapper and owner had a verbal agreement that the vehicle would be returned the following day, and in exchange, the owner would get VIP access to a future Pop Smoke concert.
Pop Smoke pleaded not guilty during his arraignment in Brooklyn on Friday and was released on a $250,000 bond. He will return to federal court on Tuesday.
