In Rick Ross’s new autobiography “Hurricanes” he’s admitted that he was hooked to codeine. When he mixed that with alcohol and other drugs, he was having seizures so bad that he almost lost his life. He explains that in one instants he couldn’t control his bowels.
“I’d caught a cold the day before and had a bad cough. I’d been taking DayQuil and using Vicks VapoRub all day,” Ross wrote in the book. “When I went to bed that night I had a seizure. But I didn’t come out of it the way I usually do. My breathing was all f*cked up. At around 3:30 in the morning the girl I was with went downstairs and told Tomcat I had sh*t myself and was foaming at the mouth.”
Ross is lucky to be alive to share these cautionary tales. He says that when he was hospitalized and he saw all his friends and family around him is when he realized the severity of his addiction and decided to get clean and write the book.
