Tekashi 6ix9ine spent the holidays behind bars as he awaits his trial for 17 counts of racketeering charges. Although his trial isn’t set to start until September 4th, his attorney Lance Lazarro will participate in a pre-trial conference on January 22. Initial request for bail were denied but Lazarro is hopeful his new offer of $1.5 million for bail will be granted during this conference later this month. He will also present the over 7,000 signatures on a change.org petition as evidence of his good character. Fellow artists Tory Lanez and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie have spoken out in support of the free Tekashi movement.
