Tekashi 6ix9ine To Testify In Court This Week
The spotlight will be back on Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 69 this week. Unfortunately, rainbow haired rapper won’t be performing on his typical stage. SixNine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, will take the stand to testify in his federal crime case this week. As early as Tuesday we will hear his side of the story in the RICO charges against alleged Nine Trey Gansta Bloods Anthony Ellison and Aljermiah Mack.
Ellison is accused of kidnapping the Brooklyn-born entertainer in July 2018, while Mack is facing charges of racketeering and narcotics trafficking. They have both pleaded not guilty.
As part of his plea deal, Hernandez, will testify that he witnessed various acts of violence while promoting the gang lifestyle. Portions of three of his music videos, in which he raps about and perpetuates gang activity will be played for the jurors and submitted as evidence including this catchy breakout hit “Gummo”.
