Travis Scott missed a scheduled performance at Super Bowl weekend party for circumstances that were out of his control but now he has to pay up. A jury has determined that event producers PJAM are owed almost $400 including the $150k they paid Travis up front plus the cost of the private jet they rented for him and other damages.
Scott was booked to perform in Minneapolis at 10:30 p.m. that day before hopping on a jet to Las Vegas for a gig at 1:30 a.m and says the logistics and weather caused him to miss the show.
Scott’s lawyer was disappointed in the jury’s decision but said, “The jury verdict of $383k is disappointing but far less than the seven-figure demands made by the promoters. We believe the verdict will be substantially reduced or overturned in subsequent proceedings.”
